Little Bird flies

Lille Bird lives on the remote Scottish island of Tornish a crofters daughter with a secret. Although she loves her islands wild seas and big skies she dreams of leaving - for America and the freedom of the New World. Then suddenly the time for daydreaming is over. The new Laird of the island is cruel and dangerous. Little Bird must escape in search of a new life. But the journey is hard and what does the future hold for her?
